these deligtful pillar box are reduced in size compared with the originals making them more than ideal for situating near the front of your property or driveway.

made from heavy cast iron they will last a very long time.

these post boxes are based on the gpo type 'b' pillar boxes which are still widely seen throughout the united kingdom today.

the type 'b' pillar box would have been made between 1910 to 1936.

the originals would have measured approx 50" inches high from the base and 16" in diameter.

these pillar boxes are what most british people would or still consider a postal box.

the construction is made from durable cast iron with a seperate steel base.

base can be detached as a seperate piece and does not necessarily need to be used. the base is secured to the post box underneith using bolts from the inside.

pillar box can be secured to a stone or concrete foundation with or without base using anchor bolts. **anchor bolts are not supplied**

fully functional post box with front letter flap and lockable access panel complete with a set of keys.

this pillar box comes sprayed racing green gloss but is also available in a red and black gloss finish via our store.

can be sprayed another british standard ral colour if desired. please contact us for further information.
